The Cherokee County School District won 10 awards from the Georgia School Public Relations Association (GSPRA), as announced at the GSPRA 2012 Annual Conference on Oct., 23, 2012 in Macon. The awards, which represent an increase from the eight won at the 2011 Annual Conference, include the top honor of Best in Category for Photography.

The GSPRA Annual Publications, Photography & Electronic Media Contest acknowledges outstanding publications, photography and electronic media produced by Georgia schools, school systems, post-secondary institutions, educational agencies or education-related associations.

The awards won by CCSD are coordinated and facilitated by the Office of Public Information, Communication and Partnerships and represent collaboration between and among multiple departments.
