The Etowah High School Academic Team won the Georgia Academic Team Association (GATA) Winter North Tournament held on Nov. 10, 2012 at Collins Hill High School, and has been invited to State and National competition. The Etowah High School Academic Team won the Georgia Academic Team Association (GATA) Winter North Tournament held on Nov. 10, 2012 at Collins Hill High School, and has been invited to State and National competition.
The team also recently won the Woodland High School Academic Challenge Fundraiser Tournament. The team next competes at the Norcross (High School) Blue Devil Academic Tournament on Dec. 1 and the Chattahoochee (High School) Academic Team Tournament on Dec. 8.
