The Woodstock Aquatic Center is hosting its Grand Opening of their new quarter-of- a –million-dollar lesson pool this Saturday.

Come join the fun as the center turns its parking lot and the downtown lower Park at City Center into an aquatic theme park with vendors, inflatables and face-painting.

Free parent/tot swim lessons are available in the new pool from 12:45 to 1:15 p.m. And free Water Aerobics lessons start at 1:20 to 2:20 p.m.

The grand-opening event will coincide with the center’s GOLD Swim Lessons Annual Mini-Meet for all current swim lesson and swim league students.

The Woodstock Aquatic Center is also the home to the nationally ranked Chattahoochee GOLD swim team.

The center is located at 1038 Arnold Mill Rd., next to the Woodstock Downtown Park. Parking is available at the center.
