Together with the Cherokee County Fire Department (Hoses) and the County Sheriff’s Department (Guns),
Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency will be hosting its seventh annual 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run. The purpose of the run is to raise money for charity causes selected by both groups. This year the charity will be CASA. When registering, you will pick the team that you want to represent and $5 of your fee will go towards their chosen charity. Moisture-Wicking shirts in white/red for the Hoses and navy/white for the Guns will be made available in your race packet for all 5K participants only. (Shirt size selections will be guaranteed for those that register by February 1st ONLY). All 1 mile Fun Run participants will earn a commemorative medal.
