During pre-planning for the school year, River Ridge High School organized a get-together with the schools in the River Ridge Zone in order to encourage vertical alignment from K-12. Participating schools were: Arnold Mill Elementary, Johnston Elementary, Little River Elementary, Mill Creek Middle and River Ridge High School. Zone meetings will be held several times throughout the year to discuss how elementary and middle schools can prepare for the expectations of the high school, as well as for high school teachers to be able to better tap into the skills and school-wide initiatives introduced in the elementary and middle schools.
