Spotlight on Excellence shines on Woodstock resident

Angela Shipp, a resident of Woodstock and director of publications and digital media at Cobb EMC, recently received two “Spotlight on Excellence” national awards, which annually recognize the top-rated communication and marketing efforts by electric cooperatives and related organizations.

 

In all, Cobb EMC received three awards:

“Field of Flags Ad” – Award of Excellence

Spotlight on Excellence, sponsored by the Council of Rural Electric Communicators and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, is in its 24th year. In 2012, faculty members from the University of Missouri – Columbia, University of South Carolina and the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill judged the more than 800 entries.
