After Fire, 3 Bodies Found
Neighbors heard what sounded like an explosion at a home off Yellow Creek Road.
Three bodies have been found in the rubble of a northeastern Cherokee County home leveled by an early morning fire, the spokesman for Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services said today.
The individuals have not been identified, but spokesman Tim Cavender said neighbors called 911 after hearing an explosion at 818 Spriggs Trail at about 3:45 a.m.
When Lt. Wesley Densmore and other firefighters arrived on the scene, the house was already on the ground, Cavender said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
