Caribou Coffee Will Close Woodstock Location

The coffee shop's last day open will be on Wednesday March 27.

Caribou Coffee has announced plans to close its Woodstock location.

The last day for the coffee shop will be on Wednesday March 27 and they will officially close for good at 10 p.m., according to the announcement posted by the company

The shop has been open on Lauren Lane adjacent to the Woodstock Square Shopping Center on Highway 92 for nearly seven years.

The company will open a new store on Wade Green Road in Kennesaw and the majority of those who work at the Woodstock location will transition to the new store.

Other baristas will relocate to other Caribou Coffee locations and no employees are slated to lose their jobs.

Caribou Coffee's Woodstock location has become known for its charitable efforts in the community, from sending coffee to troops to raising money for breast cancer awareness. 

"The staff at Caribou hope to see a lot of their regulars at the Johnson Ferry location and at the Kennesaw location once it opens," the announcement states.
