City Manager Contract Extension on Woodstock Agenda
The Woodstock City Council will consider extending City Manager Jeff Moon's contract through 2015 during its meeting tonight.
Extending City Manger Jeff Moon's contract through 2015 will be considered by the Woodstock City Council during its meeting tonight.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Chambers at City Center.
The contract will be extended through Dec. 31, 2015, and is revised to reflect Moon's current salary of $137,891.29.
Moon said he's declined any pay increases for 2014 and 2015 in exchange for removing the 100-mile restriction on other employment opportunities.
Moon was hired by the city of Woodstock in February 2008 after serving as the city manager in Orange Beach, Alabama.
The council will also consider a temporary alcohol license for USA Entertainment, Inc., the organizers of the 2013 Wing & Rock Fest.
The festival will be held at the Park at City Center May 31, June 1 and June 2.
The council will move into executive session to discuss a personnel matter. Once it returns, the council could consider responding to an employee appeal.
