Craft Beer Market Plans To Open in Woodstock

Barrel and Barley is renovating the former location of Brenda's House of Flowers on Main Street to suit their needs.

Woodstock could soon become home to a craft beer market. 

Barrel and Barley Craft Beer Market is planning to open up at 9010 Main Street in downtown Woodstock.

It's the previous location of Brenda's House of Flowers, which recently moved to 200 Chambers Street.

They are currently renovating the location to suit their needs, according to its Facebook page.

Barrel and Barley will bring a large selection of beers from around the world to the area, according to an email blast. They will feature Georgia-based breweries as well, such as Reformation Brewery, Terrapin and Wild Heaven Craft Beers

They will also plan to sell growlers, noting it will put "a twist on the typical tapfilled growler by using counter pressure growler fillers that will ensure that your premium beer never comes in contact with oxygen and extends the life of your unopened jug from a few weeks to a few months."

The store will owned and operated by Zach Yurchuck, a Woodstock High School graduate and Woodstock resident.
