Ember Yoga Wins Best Gym

It doesn't take dumb bells and treadmills to be the best gym in Woodstock-Towne Lake.

"Ember is what it is because of the amazing community of members and students that come here," said Jeff Sousa, owner of Ember Yoga. "It creates a positive energy around the studio that supports all the positive change people are making."

When asked if contouring your body was the new way of working out instead of lifting hundreds of pounds of iron, Sousa said yoga helps people do what they do better.

"Whether that is running, lifting weights, golfing, dancing, studying or just living life to the fullest," he explained. "We have elite athletes practicing at Ember along side people with no flexibility and years of neglect. The benefits of yoga are accessible to all fitness backgrounds right from the first class because yoga is about taking your body to its full potential for whatever it is that you do."

Sousa said the best part of yoga for him is the great feeling it gives him.

"Ember loves everyone who makes that change and comes through the doors. It is like a big family that grows every day."
