Here are five activities for you and your family to enjoy in the week ahead.

 

1. IrishFest 

Where/When: Tanglewood Farm, 171 Tanglewood Drive, Canton. 10 a.m. Wednesday through Sunday.  

Why Go: Visitors can learn about and pet miniature farm animals.

Pricing: $10 per person.

2. St. Patrick's Day Celebration

Where/When: Frosty Frog Creamery & Cafe, 6205 Hickory Flat Hwy., Holly Springs. All day Thursday.

Why Go: Customers who wear green can get a free scoop of Irish cream ice cream with a coupon found in the March newsletter.

Pricing: Free.

3. Vans Catch The Bus Tour

Where/When: Progressive Skatepark, 1153 Marietta Hwy., Canton. Noon to 9 p.m. Friday.

Why Go: Skateboarders will enjoy professional skaters and free entrance to  Progressive. Waffles on a stick will be served.

Pricing: Free.

4. Story Time

Where/When: R.T. Jones Library, 116 Brown Industrial Pkwy., Canton. 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Why Go: Children and parents will enjoy this time together.

Pricing: Free. 

5. Bounce Around 

Where/When: Bounce House Amusement Center, 765 Ash St., Canton. Open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday from 9 to 11:30 a.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Why Go: Kids can jump off their energy and have fun while parents sit back and relax.

Pricing: Children under 3 are free. Older children are $5.
