Miss Huff Lantana Named City Flower
With 55 percent of the votes, the Rudbeckia was beat by the Miss Huff Lantana in a runoff election.
The battle between two flowers has ended, and one came out victorious with your help.
The Miss Huff Lantana has been deemed the Woodstock City Flower after receiving 55 percent of the votes in last week's runoff election.
There were 359 votes cast in the online election, according to Main Street Woodstock.
Residents will start to see the Miss Huff Lantana as members of GROW, Green Reaps Opportunity for Woodstock, will be featuring this sun-loving shrub in beautification projects around town.
