Reinhardt University Honors Woodstock Students

Several Woodstock students were recognized during the school's annual Honors Day.

Several Woodstock natives receives academic accolades at Reinhardt University during its annual Honors Day program last week. 

  • Kelsey Byrd, Alexandra Dunn, Daniel Guerrero, Karen Huffman, Christopher Lawhorne, Phillip Roberts were all honored as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholars.
  • Maria Flores  was honored as a Reinhardt University Academic Scholar.
  • Kaitlyn Henderson was honored as an Academic Degree Program Award recipient for public relations and advertising.
  • Katlynn Knier was honored as an Academic Degree Program Award recipient for marketing and as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Shawn-tel Lay was honored as an Academic Degree Program Award recipient for math and as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Jennifer Ratchford was honored as a Reinhardt University Academic Scholar.
    Leslie Ratchford was honored as the School Student Achievement Award recipient for the McCamish School of Business, as an Academic Degree Program Award recipient for management, and as a Hugh Peterson Jr. Academic Scholar.
  • Heidi Switzer was honored as the School Student Achievement Award recipient for the Price School of Education, as an Academic Degree Program Award recipient for middle grades education, and as a Reinhardt University Academic Scholar.
  • Jenna Whatley was honored as a Reinhardt University Academic Scholar.

Dr. David Gregory, associate professor of music, was honored with the Elizabeth Moss Bailey Faculty Mentor Award.

This award is decided upon by Reinhardt's Student Government Association and recognizes the faculty member who best exemplifies the University's mission, who affects lives for the better, who integrates faith and learning and who educates the whole person.
