Ridgewalk Widening, Police Car Purchase On Woodstock Agenda
The Woodstock City Council tonight will consider purchasing police vehicles and hear and update on the widening of Ridgewalk Parkway.
The Woodstock City Council tonight will consider obtaining a SunTrust loan to purchase police vehicles during its regular meeting.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Chambers at City Center.
The council will consider approving a resolution to authorize Mayor Donnie Henriques to execute documents to obtain the loan from SunTrust Bank.
This loan will be used for the financing of four police cars out of the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax funds, which total $146,000.
Council members will also hear an update to the widening of Ridgewalk Parkway, which started last week; hear a request from Cherokee County for the city to financially contribute to a "shared" economic development position; consider changing the administrative assistant II position to administrator coordinator in Parks and Recreation Department; and consider a request to creating the systems administrator position in the Information Technology Department and promoting internal staff to fill this position.
