Robin Hood Visits Woodstock

Before you see Robin Hood in Downtown Woodstock, experience the Sherwood Adventure at the Rope Mill Park this Saturday with all your favorite characters.

Come to the Sherwood Forest in Rope Mill Park with your family this Saturday and watch Robin and Little John fight at the bridge as you interact with the characters in the free Sherwood Adventure put on by the Elm Street Cultural Arts Village.

Famillies will have the opportunity to experience a bit of Robin Hood's time with a maypole dance, root beer with Friar Tuck (sponsored by Buck Jones Nursery), a stage combat demonstration or two and some surprise visits by the Merry Folk of Sherwood.

Those who also walk one of the trails in Rope Mill will earn themselves a free ticket to see the full play of Robin Hood at Elm Street.

Robin Hood will be playing at the City Center March 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18 at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sundays. All seats are $9 in advance online or $11 at the door.

The Sherwood Adventure is this Saturday and next Saturday, March, 17 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Visit www.elmstreetarts.org or call 678-494-4251 for more information.

Come and have a swashbuckling good time!
