Looking for activities with the kids? We've done the research for you.

 

1. IrishFest 

Where/When: Tanglewood Farm, 171 Tanglewood Farm Drive, Canton. 10 a.m. Wednesday through Sunday.  

Why Go: You can rub a live rabbit's foot. Or you can stroll through the pasture looking for a four-leaf clover.

Pricing: $10 per person.

2. Members Only Observatory Night

Where/When: Tellus Science Museum, Interstate 75, Exit 293, Cartersville. 6 p.m. Friday.

Why Go: You'll have the museum to yourself. (The event will be canceled in the event of cloudy weather. Call 770-606-5700, ext. 420, for weather updates.)

Pricing: Free.

3. Fish and "Catch a Memory"

Where/When: Cagle's Farm House, 150 Stringer Road, Hickory Flat. 3 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.   

Why Go: Join your children as they dig one free cup of worms from Cagle's worm bed, then watch them catch their first fish.

Pricing: Starts at $5.

4. Arts Classes for All Levels

Where/When: Cherokee Arts Center, 94 North St., Canton. 3 p.m. Sunday.

Why Go: Enjoy spending time together and learn the joy of art together.

5. Peter Pan 

Where/When: ThreeSixty Theatre at Pemberton Place, 121 Baker St. NW, Atlanta. 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday; 1 and 5 p.m. Sunday.

Why Go: The ThreeSixty experience allows for unimpeded views for all. No one is more than a few rows from the stage.

Pricing: Tickets range from $30 to $125.
