Qualifying ended at noon, but nonpartisan candidates have one more day to get on the July 31 ballot.

 

The slate of candidates for the July 31 general primary is almost set.

Qualifying ended at noon today, but nonpartisan candidates have been given an extension: noon Saturday at the Cherokee County Elections and Voter Registration Office, 400 E. Main St., Canton.
