Tara Layng Oliver graduated from Piedmont College in December.

Oliver was among 400 students who received degrees from the university. Oliver earned an education specialist degree.

With campuses in Demorest and Athens, Piedmont College is an independent liberal arts college that has about 2,600 students. It was founded in 1897.
