Woodstock Student Wins Scholarship

NeoCom Solutions, Inc. awarded four scholarships to Cherokee County students.

 

A Woodstock High School student received a $1,000 scholarship from a local company for her academic and community achievements.

NeoCom Solutions, Inc., a Telecommunication Engineering & Construction firm, awarded a total of four $1,000 scholarships to students who have maintained good academic standing while juggling active schedules including community service, full course loads and extra curricular activities.

This year’s winners are:

Erika Staskevicius

School: Woodstock High School

Goal: To attend the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Janine Perkins

School: Creekview High School

Goal: To attend Berry College.

Jesse Grant

School: Chattahoochee Technical College

Rosalid Kamani

School: Chattahoochee Technical College

The scholarships were established to provide assistance to Cherokee County students who are currently or will be enrolled in an accredited four-year college, university or two-year technical college, community college or trade school. Academic achievement and financial need are considered when giving the award.
