This person is suspected of shoplifting video games and electronics equipment from Target over the past month or more.

Tips from the public allowed the Canton Police Department to catch one of three shoplifters who have been active at the Target in Canton.

Police Lt. G. Alan Rivas said in a press release that multiple tips from the public identified the suspect as 19-year-old Jacob Corey Kelcourse of Canton.

Kelcourse was charged with four counts of misdemeanor shoplifting and turned himself in to authorities last Friday. He was held in the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center and released on $1,000 bond.

If you recognize either of the remaining suspects, please contact the Canton Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division at 770-720-4883 and ask to speak to Det. Dan. Combs.

Why would a bond to set for either one of these three shoplifters? Is what I can not understand about Cherokee County Courts system these days, but Cherokee County Courts knows ,if they show any caring albout all the different crimes going on through out the County, this just means that the Courts will have to work much harder, and working is not something Cherokee County Courts is going to do, if they can gets out of it
