Cherokee Tribune Managing Editor Brandon Wilson was arrested Thursday for his involvement in a Canton prostitution case. Lt. Jay Baker, spokesman for the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, told Canton-Sixes Patch Wilson, 33, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. Thursday on a charge of pandering. He was released at 7:15 a.m. on a $680 bail. According to the attached jail booking reports, Erik Leshaun Jackson, 29, of Long Beach, CA, and Sonya Lynn Strobel, 25, of Smyrna, were also arrested with Wilson. Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Investigators are asking for help from the public in identifying two people suspected of stealing lottery tickets during a burglary of a Texaco. At about 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday morning, the suspects allegedly threw a cinder block through the front door of the Texaco on Holly Springs Parkway near East Cherokee Drive and filled a trash can with lottery tickets and cigarettes. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a metro-Atlanta counterfeit check investigation. Walmarts in Woodstock, Cartersville, Kennesaw, Acworth, Cumming, Lawrenceville and Alpharetta are among the locations the suspect, a black male, has cashed counterfeit checks, said Lt.
