Tell us what you think should go in this empty storefront.With the new Tuesday Morning now open in the old Publix on Towne Lake Parkway, the vacant storefronts in the surrounding strip mall have a promise to soon fill in. The old Woodstock Coffeehouse used to stand next to Tuesday Morning, but closed in March 2011. The owners opened Copper Coin Coffee as part of Acru in Downtown Woodstock. Despite Woodstock-Towne Lake's economic growth, there are vacant buildings scattered throughout strip malls, in downtown and lining the increasingly busy streets. We would like to know what you think should go in these empty buildings. We started with 8654 Main St. in Downtown Woodstock, also most commonly known as Val's Happy Shack. The building is now going to house a new bakery called Cupcakelicious. Next, we're moving down Highway 92 to a vacant building that used to be a Blockbusters that closed last year. It's connected to McDonalds in front of Walmart. So, what do you think should go …

We would like to know what you think should go in these empty buildings. We'll start with 8654 Main St. in Downtown Woodstock, also most commonly known as Val's Happy Shack. The clothing and accessory boutique went to a more mobile approach to business after they closed the doors in this building in late October. The building is in the process of getting a facelift from the out-of-town owners. So, what do you think should go here …
