Volunteers are needed to help with this yearly back-to-school outreach! We especially need hair stylists to help give free haircuts to the 3,000-plus children who attend that day. Give a Kid a Chance distributes 3,000 filled backpacks, socks and undies, gently used clothing and medical screenings.
Preregistration is required to receive backpacks. If you are in need and haven't preregistered, backpacks will be given first-come, first-served between 2 and 3 p.m. until supplies run out.
