Interested in getting your child started in the business?  This is the workshop for you. Terri Roland, mom to a child actor will be holding a workshop for Parents.  The workshop will cover many topics such as how to get your child started, headshots and marketing, getting an agent/manager, casting directors, effects of rejection on the child and much more.  Terri will be able to give you the point of view as a parent from hands on experience. Curt Roland began his career at the age of 7 at the Towne Lake Arts Center-now Elm Street.  By the age of 8, Curt and his mom moved to LA for a few years at the request of an LA Manager.  Tuesday November 13th from 7-9pm.  Cost $50 per person - for parents only to attend - space limited.  Online registration at http://www.elmstreetarts.org/rfp-workshop-registration/   Held at City Center/Elm Street, 8534 Main St, Woodstock, GA.    678-494-4251

Elm Street Cultural Arts Village is currently located at 8534 Main St. in the former Woodstock Community Church, in historical Downtown Woodstock. Soon to be built on a 4-acre site around Elm Street purchased by the County and the City, the Arts Village is a community organization dedicated to enriching the life, health and imagination of the Woodstock area. The organization currently offers programs for children, teens and adults, including events, entertainment, arts education programs, drama classes and camps at the Main Street location. This entertainment complex will eventually also house artists' studios, pottery and metalworking studios, a community vegetable garden and a farmers' market. The Main Street location currently serves as the new home of the Towne Lake Arts Center theater.
