How Cold Will It Get in Woodstock?

Woodstock and Cherokee County will once again experience frigid temperatures.

Woodstock and southern Cherokee County is set for another round of frigid cold, although the mercury isn't expected to drop into the single digits as it did a couple of weeks ago.

More arctic air will pour down into the south on Thursday and Friday, according to The Weather Channel.

The National Weather Service predicts clear skies, but cold temps coupled with high winds. The low tonight will dip to around 13, while northwest winds 10 to 15 miles per hour will gusts as high as 25 miles per hour. Friday night's low will be around 21 with winds gusting up to 20 miles per hour, according to the forecast.

Dry conditions combined with falling humidity values will create a high risk for forest fires today and Friday, according to the NWS' hazardous weather outlook for portions of north and central Georgia, including Cherokee County.
