Recycle Your Christmas Tree and Get Free Mulch

Woodstock's Chip n Dip initiative allows residents to recycle their trees and return next week for free mulch.

Don't want to wait until next Saturday for Bring one for the Chipper?

You can bring your undecorated Christmas tree to Olde Rope Mill Park between now and Jan. 13, 2014, to feed your tree into the city's chipper.

Then, next week, residents can return with a shovel and "dip" into the free mulch that will be made available. Residents can drop off their trees and get free mulch between 8 a.m. and dusk.

The city will not accept any decorations, stands or flocked trees.

Olde Rope Mill Park sits at 690 Rope Mill Road. For more information, call (770) 592-6000.
