Residents Have Final Say in Senate District 14 Race

Today is the runoff election for the race, which has Republicans Bruce Thompson and Matt Laughridge vying for the Georgia Senate seat.

Voters in Senate District 14 will once again head to the polls today to decide who will represent them in the Georgia Senate. 

The runoff for the Nov. 5 general election is today for the race in the Senate district, which was forced into a runoff after neither candidate received enough votes needed to win the seats. 

Voters in the district, which includes most of Cherokee County west of Interstate 575, will decide between Republicans Bruce Thompson and Matt Laughridge

Polls will be open between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. today and voters can check where their polling place is by visiting the Georgia Secretary of State's My Voter Page.
