Todd Akin shouldn't stop running for the US Senate

As a Republican candidate for Congress in Georgia's 11th District (allanleveneforcongress.com) I'm obligated to comment on Todd Akin's stupid remark.

As a Republican candidate for Congress in Georgia's 11th District (allanleveneforcongress.com) I think that wayward Missouri Congressman, Todd Akin has unfortunately become another nail in the Romney coffin.

While I think that his comments were stupid, I am pleased that he is fighting back against our own Republican party. Why? Because if he withdraws from his race, his party will disown him. Since he chose to run for the US Senate and abandoned running again for his 2nd District seat, he doesn't have any other options.

If he stays in the race, they must continue to support him using whatever narrative they need to justify doing it. Having one more elected Republican Senator means a lot more than one stupid remark.

Even if the PACs abandon him, the publicity he has received from his remark is worth millions. And as being elected is about being known, and suprisingly not about what you say and want to do, he'll probably win.

I doubt the public has a clue about what really goes on in the political business, which is what it is. I wrote some blog entries about some little known political secrets on my website. Read and comment.
