FoxTale Book Shoppe transforms into the FoxTale Diner to welcome author Edward Kelsey Moore

FoxTale Book Shoppe has pulled out all the stops to welcome NY Times bestselling author Edward Kelsey Moore, author of The Supremes at Earl's All-You-Can-Eat today, Saturday, August 17th at 5pm.  The ladies of Foxtale have been busy transforming the Book Shoppe into the FoxTale Diner as well as working on a special performance.  The Supremes at Earl's has been called “a novel of strong women, evocative memories and deep friendship.”

FoxTale co-owner Karen Schwettman said, "The Foxes just knew they had to meet the author of this fantastic book, one of our favorites of the year."  Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat is home away from home for this inseparable Plainview, Indiana, trio. Dubbed “the Supremes” by high school pals in the tumultuous 1960s, they weather life’s storms together for the next four decades. Now, during their most challenging year yet, dutiful, proud, and talented Clarice must struggle to keep up appearances as she deals with her husband’s humiliating infidelities. Beautiful, fragile Barbara Jean is rocked by the tragic reverberations of a youthful love affair. And fearless Odette engages in the most terrifying battle of her life while contending with the idea that she has inherited more than her broad frame from her notorious pot-smoking mother, Dora.

Schwettman added, "The Foxes will be "performing" and then Edward Kelsey Moore will regale with us with his inspiration for one of our favorite novels of the year. If you’re a fan of the Foxes and want to be able to blackmail us for years to come, please join us!"

If you purchased a copy of the book from FoxTale this year, please bring it to the signing event. If you have not read this heart-touching and funny book, they will have plenty of copies for sale.

FoxTale Book Shoppe is located at 105 East Main Street in the same shopping center as Vingenzo's, directly across from the Woodstock City Park Gazebo.  Phone: 770-516-9989
