Residents of The Orchards of East Cherokee Can Save on Their Retirement

Living at The Orchards of East Cherokee can save homeowners thousands each year. Why? Cherokee County homeowners ages 62 and older do not have to pay the local school tax, an exemption that gives them up to a 70 percent discount on their taxes. However, with less than 20 homes still remaining at The Orchards of East Cherokee, The Orchards Group’s luxurious northwestern metro Atlanta active adult community, the clock is ticking for retirees and seniors looking to save on their retirement.

Sixteen of the remaining homes at The Orchards of East Cherokee are two and three bedroom ranch-style condominiums complete with two-car garages, activities suites with full baths, spacious master suites and covered front porches perfect for rocking chairs. Vaulted ceilings and optional sunrooms give the homes a light and airy feeling. These ranch condos are priced from the $210,000s through the $270,000s.

The two other final homes feature single-family, detached plans with maintenance-free landscaping and exteriors, as well as full daylight basements with outside access. Priced from the low $300,000s, one of these homes is ready for instant move-in, and the other will be completed by mid-September.
