Want to be your own boss??

On Saturday, March 22nd, from 10 a.m. to noon,The Master's Training Center, affiliated with Papa's Pantry, will conduct a 2-hour class on "Entrepreneurship: Being Your Own Boss."  The cost for the class is $20 and all proceeds go to Papa's Pantry to help them in their mission work.  You may find additional information is the March issue of the Community Christian News at http://papaspantry.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/CCN_March_2014.pdf.

During the class, instructor Tim Grady will be covering many of the components of striking out on your own, from the "idea" itself to all the "what comes next" steps to take it from concept to commercial enterprise.  In addition, he will be sharing another approach to generate some extra immediate income for anyone from 18 to 88 who has anything from a few hours each week to too much time on their hands.  "Any business is 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration" - paraphrasing a quote from Thomas Edison

Location: the class will be held at 6551 Commerce Pkwy, Suite 200, Woodstock, GA 30189 on Saturday, March 22nd, from 10 a.m. to noon. Please phone 770-591-4730 to secure your seat.  You may pay for the class by cash, check or credit card, preferably in advance.

If this class fills up, we will offer it on alternate dates to accommodate everyone's interest and generate as many dollars for Papa's Pantry as we can.  Please forward this to anyone you think would be interested in the subject matter, including other ministry groups, networking groups, employment services groups or churches.

Who should attend: anyone interested in launching a business or finding a way to make some extra income, including high school graduates struggling to find a job, a situation that pays better or a way to pay for college; college graduates struggling to find an opening in their chosen career or buried in student loan debt and needing a way to pay it off; anyone with too much credit card debt; young marrieds and families with young children having a tough time making ends meet; families facing college costs without good financial options to pay for college; empty-nesters wanting to build a retirement income or retirees wanting to supplement a retirement income; anyone with physical challenges, such as blindness, inability to speak, or injuries from war; or returning soldiers or veterans unable to find meaningful work or a new career path; anyone who is unemployed or underemployed and is looking for income alternatives.  There are no prerequisites for
starting a business except acknowledging that you will need to learn a lot more than whatever you know now, and a desire to succeed and do more, perhaps for others, than you can do by yourself or in a job.
