Aqua Tots Swim for Drowning Awareness

The  was one of two aquatic facilities in Woodstock to participate in the today. Hundreds of other waterparks, community pools and other aquatic facilities around the world began lessons at 11 a.m. ET to raise awareness about drowning prevention through swimming lessons at a young age.

This is Aqua Tots' first year to participate, and they had more than 50 swimmers splashing around in the 45-minute lesson.

The organization as a whole is wanting to break last year's record of 3,971 participants representing 34 states and five countries in the hopes of making it into the  Guinness World Records book as the largest swimming lesson.
