American Legion Post 316 and the Marine Corps League Detachment 1311 will hold an informal reception to honor Cpl. Jeffrey Cole for his military service.
Cpl Cole was recently awarded the Silver Star on July 10 at Camp LeJuene for his actions in Afghanistan in July 2010. This will be his first trip back to the city of Woodstock since being awarded the Silver Star.
