Farmers Market, Friday Night Live Return To Woodstock

Two popular events in downtown Woodstock will soon make a comeback.

Downtown Woodstock will soon see two of its most popular events return to its streets.

Next Friday, March 1, is the start of the long-running Friday Night Live series, which includes festivities throughout the downtown area. 

Participating businesses usually stay open later and have activities going on at their stores related to the theme of the month.

March's theme will be Mardi Gras on Main. The event typically includes a Mardi Gras parade and the crowning of a king and queen of the event.

The Main Street Woodstock Farmers Market will also soon return to downtown Woodstock.

The 2013 season will kick off on Saturday May 25 in the parking lot behind the Chambers at City Center/Elm Streets Arts facility.

This year's market will be held each Saturday through September between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
