Get Out: Bridal Expo, MLK Breakfast and More
Here's a round up of what's going on around Cherokee County this weekend.
After a week of rain, clouds and snow flurries, why not get out and enjoy the sunshine!
Here's a list of events happening this weekend around Cherokee County:
- The annual MLK Unity Breakfast, which is free and open to the public, will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Conference Center in Canton. The event will feature a motivational speaker and musical and dance performances.
- The Cherokee Bridal Expo will kick off at noon on Saturday at Magnolia Hall (located behind Magnolia Thomas Restaurant). Tickets are $6 and can be purchased the expo's website.
- Elm Street Arts will perform Friday at 7:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at 8534 Main Street in downtown Woodstock. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
- Canton Theatre will present Crimes of the Heart: A Mississippi tragic comedy8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. General admission is $15 and $12 for seniors and students.
- Trisha Gotte will present a Historical Drama at 7 p.m. Friday at the Cherokee Arts Center. General admission is $12 for adults and $10 for children age 10 and under.
