Get Out: What's Going On Around Cherokee This Weekend

It's the last weekend of 2012 and don't spend it being unproductive! Here's a list of events you can check out this weekend. 

• You can still vote early on Friday in the Jan. 8, 2013 special election to fill the State House District 21 and Senate District 21 seats. Voters can cast their ballots early at the Albert L. Stone Elections Building in downtown Canton Friday until 5 p.m. Click here to visit the Cherokee County Elections and Voter Registration's website for more information. 
• The Cherokee Arts Center will present a historical drama directed by Tisha Gotte. The play starts Friday at 7 p.m. and ticket are $12 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under. 
• Be sure to take your Christmas trees to select locations to have them recycled and turned into mulch! Click here to see which locations are open.
