Head to the Tracks for Relay for Life

Here is the information you need to know May 20.

1. Woodstock has reached the summer temperatures again. Today is going to have a high of 87 degrees with sunny skies and low tonight of 57 degrees.

Also on this sunny day, the Georgia Clean Air Campaign has issued a smog alert. This code orange advisory means children, people who are sensitive to ozone, and people with heart or lung disease should limit prolonged outdoor exertion during the late afternoon or early evening when ozone concentrations are highest.

2. waited outside the School Board meeting until they had their time to be heard. Even though there wasn't any discussion from the public, their numbers and patience made an impact. The board recognized the petition had been received, and they wanted to work with the charter school. The board asked for a polished resubmission of the Charter explaining certain gaps were in the last two that were rejected.
