Holiday Lights Return to Hobgood Park

The second annual Holiday Lights of Hope raises money for the Anna Crawford Children's Center.

Hobgood Park will once again light up for children next month as part of the second annual Holiday Lights of Hope.

The elaborate display of holiday lights will be open to the public between 6 p.m. and 10 pm. Thursday, Dec. 12 through Sunday, Dec. 21.

The park is at 6688 Bells Ferry Road in Woodstock.

Tickets are $10 for adults and free for children 14 and under. This year, residents will be able to walk through the main display totaling over 500,000 LED lights, see a 30-foot tall Christmas light tree, a 17-foot tall reindeer and a 15-foot tall snowman family.

Other features include a Christmas maze that has over 5,000 feet of lights, a village in which residents can visit and take photos with Santa Claus, a children's area, vendors, concessions and live music.

The even raises money for the Anna Crawford Children's Center, which conducts forensic interviews of children who've experienced some form of child abuse.

They also offer programs on child abuse prevention and intervention.
