Last Day for Seniors

Here is the information you need to know May 27.

1. Despite the heavy rainfall some might have woken up to, the rest of today is going to just be mostly cloudy with a high of 82 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low of 59 degrees.

2. It's the last day of school for the 2010-11 Etowah and Woodstock high school seniors. Woodstock-Towne Lake Patch would like to wish all graduating seniors luck on their future goals and next steps in life. Graduation for both schools is tomorrow at the First Baptist Church. We will have photo galleries. Feel free to add any photos of your own. There will also be a list of the seniors this afternoon.

3. The Morning Buzz meets at 8 a.m. at the in Downtown Woodstock. It's a great opportunity to mingle with other business owners, local residents and get updates on downtown projects.

4. Today is the last day for Cherokee Charter Academy to get a list of enrolled students and a projected enrollment for each of the remaining four years of the proposed five-year contract to the . The again for help in opening its doors this fall.
