Oktoberfest Comes to Downtown Woodstock
This month's installment of Friday Night Live will be an Oktoberfest theme. The festival kicks off at 6 p.m.
You don't have to drive to Helen to enjoy the perks of Oktoberfest.
This month's Friday Night Live installment will feature Oktoberfest, and downtown Woodstock will be the place to partake in mini events surrounding this month's theme. Friday Night Live gets underway at 6 p.m. along Main Street.
The Bavarian Duo, a German band, will set up shop in front of Cupcakelicious and will perform music during the event. Live music will also be in front of Seven Arrows.
Oktoberfest will also be a great opportunity for residents to see the works of those participating in the 2013 Scarecrow Parade, and residents will be able to cast a vote for their favorite one at Woodstock Visitor's Center at Dean's Store.
Most merchants along Main Street will remain open between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to take part in the festival. A complete list of what specials businesses will offer during Friday's event can be viewed here.
