After you have a blast from the past, experience the sophisticated side of the arts this weekend in Cherokee County.

Where/When: Downtown Woodstock, 6-9 p.m. today.
Why Go: Dress up in your favorite 80s costume and get a chance to win a $50 gift to any participating downtown business. Most of the downtown businesses will have refreshments and activities for the whole family.

Where/When:  , Friday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Why Go: From vintage collectables to furniture to art, there is a little bit of everything for everyone at this outdoor show.

3. Irish Reception
Where/When: , Saturday at 7 p.m.
Why Go: Be there for the long-awaited release of Terry Kay's Bogmeadow’s Wish and party with the FoxTale ladies at the Irish Reception.

4. Zumbathon for Lily
Where/When: Ball Ground Community Center, 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Why Go: Enjoy an evening of zumba at the Ball Ground Community Center for a special cause. This event is a fundraiser for , who suffers from cystinosis and is anticipating a kidney transplant in just a few weeks. 5. Pianst Gregor Breier
Where/When: Waleska First Baptist Church, 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
Why Go: He's a world renowned concert pianist.

6. Canton Opry
Where/When: , 7 p.m. Saturday
Why Go: The evening will feature the best of local bluegrass bands: Exception to the Rule, Southern Breeze and Jot 'Em Down Boys.
Pricing: $7 general admission.

7. George Lucktenberg
Where/When: The Falany Performing Arts Center at Reinhardt University, 3 p.m. Sunday
Why Go: He will perform on the fortepiano, the same instrument that greats like Mozart and Beethoven wrote their piano music.
Pricing: $12 for seniors and students; $15 for general admission.
