SPLOST Plans Move Forward

1. Today is going to be mostly sunny with a high of 73 degrees. The temperatures are going to drop to the mid 40s by this evening.

2. The Cherokee School Board unanimously voted for the education SPLOST referendum to go on the November ballot. The board will be meeting in special work sessions over the next three months to discuss the nuts and bolts of the tax they wish to renew. See live coverage of Thursday night's meeting .

3. The monthly is tonight starting at 6. The theme is Springfest with a plethora of music in Downtown Woodstock. There will be a Mariach band to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, karaoke and lots of live music lining the streets. To see more weekend events, catch the Get Out weekend planner coming up at 8 a.m.

4. Pineapple Park is this week's 'Stock Market. will have the feature for you at 2 p.m.
