Towne Lake Hills Golf Lessons
Take golf instructions with or without your spouse, or reward your loved one with the gift of lessons.
I am a golf widow. My husband, Lewis, plays regularly with a circle of friends on various courses throughout our area. In fact, he gets antsy between golf outings and can often be found in our yard swinging a real or imaginary club.
For Lewis, golf is the greatest of escapes from the frenzy of family life. Being with his buddies for the better part of a day is his way to re-energize and renew his spirit. And, with the exception of a couple minor incidents involving his home chore list, I do not begrudge him this need to ditch the family and spend time with the guys.
Lewis would welcome the opportunity to play golf as a couple. Not as a replacement to his current golf routine with the boys, of course, but as a chance for additional play. Unfortunately, my golf skills have eroded due to lack of practice. And frankly, I was never a very good player.

Perhaps it is time for some lessons! Without some instruction, I fear I will only frustrate myself and my golf partner as I sink further into bad habits and ineffective techniques.
The offers individual instruction in a private corner of the course’s practice area. Chris Carlisle, Senior Certified Instructor, helps golfers of all skill levels strike the ball more consistently and improve their all-around play. He uses video to help students identify and correct their short game and full swing. In addition, he incorporates mirrors, drills and teaching aids into lessons.

Chris brings 18 years of experience as a golf instructor and took the position of Director of Instruction at Towne Lake Hills in 2004. He tailors instruction to the needs of each student, depending on their current skill level.
One hour private lessons cost $65 per hour, or you can purchase a series of three lessons for $165. Semi-private lessons cost $75 for two students or $90 for three students. Towne Lake Hills Golf Club members receive a discount to these rates.
