Three Counties Put On Concerts

Here's some help with your weekend planner.

1.
Where/When: , Saturday from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Why Go: The summer concert series continues with an opportunity for you to bring your whole family to enjoy live music on a blanket in the park.
Pricing: Free

2. 
Where/When: , Today and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: The Academy Street Theatre Group, an arts program of the Cherokee County School District, has been rehearsing very hard to bring you a wonderful adaptation based on the 1909 novel.
Pricing: $8 at the door.

3. Almost Elton John & The Rocket Band
Where/When: The Depot in downtown Kennesaw (2828 Cherokee St. NW, Kennesaw), Saturday at 8 p.m.
Why Go: Can't get enough music? Travel down 575 with your blanket and picnic basket to hear Kennesaw's first band in their summer outdoor concert series.
Pricing: $50 for reserved table; free for regular seating on lawn.

Where/When: , Sunday at 3 p.m.
Why Go?: This patriotic concert is free and everyone is invited. Light refreshments will be provided by the Alpharetta Golden Age Club after the concert.
Price: Free

5. 
Where/When: , Saturday from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
Why Go?: This is the  third annual hockey benefit for cancer, so come watch a Red vs. Blue hockey game to help support the fight to find a cure for cancer. Afterward, the arena opens for public skating!
Price: Children 10 and under are $5 and adults are $10
