Walk For Life Raises Over $30,000 For HOPE Center

The 2014 Walk For Life was held earlier this month at Woodstock High School.

The HOPE Center in Woodstock is celebrating the success of its 2014 Walk for Life.

The fifth-annual event was held on Saturday, May 3 at the Woodstock High School stadium.

Organizers greeted nearly 140 sponsored walkers who collectively raised nearly $40,000 for the non-profit pregnancy resource center and its thrift store.

“The Walk for Life was a wonderful success," said Cindy Leary, HOPE Center executive director. "The weather was perfect. It was a great day for our
supporters to come out and show their support for The HOPE Center. The Walk continues to be a unique way to raise funds and awareness in the community. It allows us to continue to serve the needs of those seeking pregnancy and relationship support.”
