What's Going On Around Cherokee This Weekend

Here is a roundup of events happening around Cherokee County this weekend.

  • The Cherokee County Historical Society is holding its first Historic Canton Holiday Tour of Homes from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday Dec. 14 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat. Dec. 14. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased here or by visiting the Cherokee County History Museum and Visitors Center, Chamberhouse, Three Sisters Gifts and the Woodstock Visitors Center at Dean's Store.
  • The Latimer Hall Christmas Craft Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday Dec. 15 at Latimer Hall at 103 Towne Lake Pkwy in downtown Woodstock. The event is free to attend.
  • Santa Claus will visit the Woodstock Visitors Center at 1 p.m. Sat. Dec. 15. Woodstock Mayor Donnie Henriques will kick off the event by reading Christmas stories to children. Bring your camera to take a free photo with Santa. 
  • Holiday Lights of Hope continues from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Hobgood Park in Towne Lake.
