Woodstock Farmers Market Expands to Outlet Mall

The farmers market will kick off on Saturday, May 3 and will run each Saturday through October.

The sixth season of the Woodstock Farmers Market will return in early May and will take place in a new location.

The market, presented by Hamilton State Bank (formerly Cherokee Bank) and Main Street Woodstock, will kick off Saturday, May 3 and will run each Saturday through October.

The new location will be held along Market Street between Mill and Maple Streets, adjacent to the Elm Street Cultural Arts Village's event green. Market hours are from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Along with the new location, a Tuesday night market will kick off on May 6 at the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta, located at 915 Ridgewalk Parkway.

“We are pleased to expand your local farmers market to be able to bring farm fresh products to our community,” said Brian Stockton, director of Main Street Woodstock. “Both the new downtown location and the addition of the weeknight market at the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta show the enthusiasm for this type of program from both the local farmers and the shoppers of the market.”

Market hours at the outlet mall will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Both markets will have additional events, including cooking demonstrations and farm-related events sponsored by the Cherokee County Farm Bureau.

Vendors can visit the Woodstock Visitors Center at Historic Dean's Store to pick up an application or download the file online.
