Allen Temple AME -Watch Night Service

Allen Temple AME Church in Woodstock plans to bring the New Year in by worshipping and fellowshipping.

The church  will hold its annual Watch Night service . The Rev. Carl Moore, pastor of the church will lead the service.

After the clock strikes 12, members will then head over to Woodstock Lakes for midnight bowling. The bowling will begin at 12:30 a.m. at 108 Woodpark Blvd.

The Rev. Tammy Watson, youth minister at Allen Temple, said the church averages about 300 people at the services and about 75 people at the midnight bowling festivities.

Rev. Watson said the entire community is welcome to attend Allen Temple's services and bowling.

"We think it'll go very well this year," she said. "We like bringing the New Year in with the Lord."
