Georgia Dachshund Races, June 23-24, 2012

The Third Annual Georgia Dachshund Races will be at Jim Miller Park in Marietta, June 23-24, 2012. Get your racing wieners registered now. Events are $5 each or 3 events for $12 before race day. Events include costume, coat, size, nose, obstacle course contest. Go to GeorgiaDachshundRaces.com to submit your forms with a click and pay by PayPal. At the website you also can find booth, ad, sponsorship, raffle, and volunteer forms and information.  All proceeds go to DREAM Dachshund Rescue based in Atlanta. DREAMrescue.org is a nonprofit organization and serves North Georgia to Savannah.  The races are a SAFE, fun event for families and dachshunds. Participants come from all over the US to our races in Georgia. We have had people travel from Ohio, Washington State, Michigan, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, the Carolinas, and all over Georgia. We are sanctioned and ruled by the National Dachshund Races and run our races by their rules for dachshund safety. As a part of the NDR circuit, our winners are invited to compete for National Dachshund Races awards in Ohio in September.
